Haringey Council's Allotment Service Guidance Note
on Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

ASB comes in many different forms. It includes nuisance and harassment in relation to a range of factors, for example: race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, disability, malicious letters and emails, noise, vandalism, and dumping rubbish.

Haringey Council, The Metropolitan Police and partners recognise the seriousness of ASB and the impact it can have on people's lives.

You can report anti-social behaviour in a number of ways. You can report it to the Police by calling 101, this will be logged and passed on to your local Neighbourhood Team. If you are in danger or in an emergency, always call 999.

You can also make an ASB report by calling Haringey's Customer Service Centre on 020 8489 1335. Opening hours: Mondays to Fridays, 9am - 5pm.

Once you have registered your report, a decision will then be made as to which service is best placed to carry out an investigation. This could be the Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Action Team (ASBAT), or another Council service, relevant to the incident.

Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated on allotment sites. All allotment tenants should be able to attend to their plot without fear and harassment.

If you experience anti-social behaviour from another tenant or someone else on an allotment site, please also report it to your Site Association or the Council Allotment Officer, Victoria Stones.

If an anti-social behaviour investigation finds the allegations to be true, tenants will lose their allotment and have their tenancy revoked.
